As bargaining and mediation continues, we need to show Treasury Board that our solidarity is unshakeable and that we are not going to back down. On Wednesday, July 15, the day before our TC bargaining team begins mediation, join PSAC members across the country and wear black in support of our bargaining teams. 

Parks Canada has released new educational resources related to its workforce adjustment (WFA), including updated information on the workforce selection and retention exercise — formerly referred to as the selection of employees for retention and layoff (SERLO) process. These resources provide insight into how positions may be assessed and how decisions could be made as workforce changes are implemented.

Virtual townhalls for PSAC members in the PA, SV, TC, and EB groups will be held throughout July to discuss the current status of negotiations for each group and what to expect moving forward.

On June 21, we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day by honouring the cultures, achievements, and leadership of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. It is also a time to reflect on how we advance reconciliation in our workplaces, our union, and our communities.
